Uganda Cranes striker Steven Mukwala scored an hat trick as his side Simba SC defeated Costal Union in the NBC Premier League matchday 23 at Mkwakwani Stadium in Yanga Tanzania.
Mukwala first scored a brace in the first round before a second half winning goal as Simba got an emphatic 0-3 win over Costal Union.
The lethal forward has so far scored eight goals in the NBC Premier League and has been vital in the trophy chase against table leaders Young Africans.
The win means Simba SC remain second with 54 points and still have two games in hand while Costal Union are 9th with 24 points, two points away from relegation.
