Batting first, Tanzanians put up a fighting total of 204, all out in 49.5 overs, with Mohamed Simba Mbaki leading the charge with 59 off 71 balls. Dylan Manish Thakrar (44 off 31) and Omary Koba Ramadhani (22 off 38) also chipped in, but Uganda’s bowling, led by Mathew M (3/13) and Fortunate A (3/42), kept Tanzania in check.
In the chase, Uganda Emerging XI reached 205/6 in just 33 overs, with Charles M (78 off 73) and Anas B (49 off 35) driving their innings forward. Raymond Francis Emmanuel fought hard with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 64 runs, while Augustine Meya Mwamele (1/18) and Hamza Ally Onai (1/33) picked up key breakthroughs.
