Following a successful trip to Namibia, where they finished second at the Africa Netball Cup, the National Netball team, She Cranes has safely landed back home.
The African Netball silver medalists came in a contingent of 12 players and landed at Entebbe International Airport at 1am today,Tuesday morning.
Faridah Kadondi and Mary Nuba were the only missing players on the contingent as they connected from Ethiopia to their respective UK bases.
Uganda earned a second place finish after losing to rivals South Africa in a 65-50 heated fight on Saturday.
This was South Africa’s fourth Africa Netball Cup in history having won in 2013, 2019 and 2021 previously.
