Two Ugandan referees Lucky Kasalirye and assistant Referee Ronald Katenya are gradually returning into the international reckoning as two of them got selected for 2024 Championship of African Nations has Rora Media understand .
The Confederation of African Football on Thursday announced the final list of the selected referees, assistant referees and Video Assistant Referee for the upcoming competition.
Lucky Kasalirye of Uganda made the list of the 26 referees selected for the competition while Ronald Katenya made 25 final assistant Referee list.
Uganda also missed out in the list 14 VAR selected. The competition will hold on the 1st to 28th of February in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
