The FUFA Beach Soccer League 2025/2026 is reaching a fever pitch as the elite teams prepare to return to the sand this February. With the race for the title tightening and the relegation battle looming, every goal and every save at the Kasanje Beach Soccer Arena carries massive weight.

All eyes will be on Kasanje on Sunday, February 1st, for a packed schedule of four high-intensity matchups:

1:00 PM – Grace Church BSC vs Kampala City BSC: Bottom-of-the-table Grace Church faces a monumental task against the league’s most prolific scoring side.

2:00 PM – Mutoola BSC vs MUBS BSC: A “clash of the titans” between the 3rd-placed Mutoola and the current league leaders.

3:00 PM – St Lawrence BSC vs Buganda Royal BSC: St Lawrence looks to solidify their top-four status, while Buganda Royal fights to climb out of the danger zone.

4:00 PM – Mengo Hill BSC vs. Muteesa 1 Royal University BSC: A mid-table battle where both teams are desperate for three points to stay within touching distance of the leaders.

MUBS BSC currently sits at the summit with 10 points, maintaining a narrow lead over Kampala City BSC (9 points) and the unbeaten Mutoola BSC (7 points). At the other end of the spectrum, Grace Church BSC remains rooted to the bottom without a point, making their upcoming fixture a must-win to keep their survival hopes alive.

The Golden Boot Race
The individual battle for supremacy is just as fierce. Ambrose Kigozi of Kampala City BSC is currently the man to beat, leading the league with a staggering 8 goals. He is followed by Oscar Sendege of Mutoola BSC, who has found the net 4 times.
As the league heads into this pivotal matchday, the question remains: Can anyone stop the momentum of MUBS, or will the sands of Kasanje shift the balance of power?
