The Uganda Dance Sports Federation (UDSF) successfully held it’s Elective Annual General Assembly (AGM) on Over the weekend at Pope Paul Memorial Hotel, Lubaga.
During this assembly, the executive committee that will govern this sport for a four- year period was confirmed under the supervision of the returning officer, Madam Annet Nakamya (the Uganda badminton association)
Sarah Chalangat, observed this assembly on behalf of National Council of Sports (NCS).
Amutuheire Innocent elected as the president Uganda Dance sports federation for the first term in office and was unopposed and so, the rest of the executive committee members.
Bogere Abaasi is first vice president administration and Management while Owach Denis is the 2nd vice in charge Sports and development .
Ssebuyungo Barnabas is the general secretary while Namagembe Elsie, the treasurer.
In media brief with the General Secretary Uganda Dance Sports Federation Mr Ssebuyungo Barnabas expressed his joy after being nominated.
I would like to thank you upon entrusting me for second term with the top seat following successful nominations. As the entire board, we are looking forward to working with all of you as we take sports made in Uganda forward. We welcome an open dialogue and we’ll keep the doors of UDSF open because we welcome all kinds of ideas and together we will move the sport forward. We must work towards actualization of the dreams because we are athletes all there for the athletes and we need to work in that direction.Ssebuyungo Barnabas, General Secretary Uganda Dance Sports Federation stated
The assembly announced a budget of UGX 1,000,0000 for the year 2025/2026.
