Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) has continued its dominant run in the Pepsi University Football League, finishing the group stages unbeaten with 16 points out of a possible 18.
Their latest victory came against the University of Kisubi (UNIK) in Nkozi, where second-half goals from Laker Obedgiu and Joseph Kayondo secured a 2-0 win. Ivan Agamile and Godfrey Kidega provided the assists for the crucial goals in the 50th and 67th minutes, respectively.

The two-time champions and 2023 title holders, Uganda Martyrs has been the standout performer this season, making them strong contenders for the knockout stage. They now await their quarterfinal opponents.
In Group E, International University of East Africa (IUEA) sits second with seven points, followed by Muni University in third place with six points. The two teams will clash in the final group-stage game on Friday in Kansanga to determine the second team advancing from the group.
