Stav Orland has made history as the first Ugandan motocross rider to qualify for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross main event. The event happened this weekend in Seattle, America.

Stav who captained the Uganda national motocross team, MX Cranes in the Motocross of Africa Nations last year, competed in the 250SX West.

He finished 18th overall in the main event with a best lap of 51.577. In the qualification, he crossed the line in third position.

New Zealand’s Cole Davies won the event followed by Garrett Marchbanks, Haiden Deegan and Julien Beaumer all from America. Japanese Jo Shimoda finished fifth.
