Uganda Cranes defender Elio Capradossi has signed a two-year contract with Romanian Super Liga side Universitatea Cluj as a free agent. The 29-year-old defender was clubless after parting ways with AS Cittadella following the expiration of his contract.
Capradossi’s Career
Born to an Italian father and a Congolese mother in Entebbe, Capradossi moved to Italy at a young age and played for AS Roma’s youth teams before being elevated to the senior team. He has had tenures at several Italian clubs, including Bari, Spezia, SPAL, and Cagliari. Capradossi made his Uganda Cranes debut in July last year against Botswana in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and also played against Algeria.
