The 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National Boys Football groups have been confirmed after draws held at the headquarters in Old Kampala on Friday morning .
The draws were held by FUFA Executive officer (CEO) Mr Edgar Watson Suubi has chief guest ,Former Kawempe Muslim SS player Sandra Nabweteme, Former Kibuli SS Mustapha Kizza ,Ayub Khalifa and other selected members who had attended the event.
The 2025 USSSA National Boys will witness 16 groups and each will have four schools. At this stage each school will play three games and the top two schools will go straight to the round of 32.
“As FUFA, we don’t take these competitions for granted. We know they have produced superstars. at least we have Mustapha Kiiza and Sandra Nabweteme, legends of not only the schools but also Ugandan Football.” – Edgar Watson, CEO FUFA.
Defending champions St Julian have been drawn in Group A with Lake side, Garama and Labira Girls SS .
Hosts, Ngora High school are pitted in Group B alongside Kyandodo SS, Agape SS and Meta High.
Last year’s runners up Amus College Bukedea are in Group P alongside Luwero Secondary School, Masindi Secondary School and Buziba Islamic .
The tournament will kick off on Saturday 5th May until Sunday 15th May at Ngora High school while the girls football (Ball games 1) will be held at Bukedea Comprehensive School from 5th – 15th May .
