Forward Isaac Ogwang has completed a deadline-day transfer from StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Police FC to six-time champions Vipers SC signing a two-year contract, keeping him at Kitende, until January 2027 with an extending option.

Ogwang 27, becomes Vipers’ second signing of the January transfer window, following the return of midfielder Marvin Joseph Youngman from Soltilo Bright Stars FC.

Last season, Ogwang was important in Police FC’s promotion back to the top flight, scoring 12 goals which helped them win the FUFA Big League title.

At Vipers, he will compete for a starting place with Mohamed Salem, Annest Ankunda, Yunus Sentamu, Kenneth Kimera, and Gusto Mulongo.
