The Uganda Premier League six champions Vipers SC are set to add to their striking armory with the signing of Experienced forward Isaac Ogwang.
According to reports, from reliable sources, the former Arua Hill and SC Villa striker has been a top priority for the Venoms and a two-year deal was subsequently agreed between the two parties.
The Kitende based side is set to pay the six months remaining on his contract.
Ogwang, a former student at St Lawrence University has previously played at Spartans 09 and Kampala Junior Team (KJT) in the Kampala Regional League, Gomba Lions, Arua Hills and Records champions Villa.
The Lethal forward was the 2023/2024 FUFA Big league joint top scorer with Dickson Nuwamanya (Booma Football Club) on 14 goals.
His outstanding performances have not only contributed significantly to his club but have also earned him a call-up to the national team. This season he has scored six goals in 15 matches for Police FC.
The Uganda Premier league first round ended as Vipers sit at top of the league with 34 points from 15 matches.
