Lindsey Wilson College completes the signing of Ugandan midfielder Elvis Mwanje

The United Kingdom based side, Lindsey Wilson College has completed the signing of attacking midfielder Elvis Mwanje from United Arab Emirates (UAE) second division side Elites Falcons.

The midfielder is a graduate of the KCCA FC Soccer Academy and is a budding talent that has shown so much promise to showcase his skills at the club and to pursue education.

The former Masaka SS player, joined KCCA FC in 2019 and played for KCCA FC Junior Team in the FUFA Juniors League in the 2019-20 season before joining Elite Falcons in 2021 on loan.

He featured for KCCA U20 team in the Cambiasso and Rainbow International Tournament which they went on to win in Dar es Salaam Tanzania in July 2022.

Mwanje made his senior debut as a substitute in the Uganda Cup match against Masindi’s Doves in 2020. Since then, the teenager has not looked back and has been impressive.

In December 2020, the Mwanje won the CECAFA U17 Men’s Championships with the U17 side in Kigali, Rwanda.

He joins fellow Ugandans Shugai Kalisa, formerly of Express and UPDF FC , former KCCA FC Isaac Ogwang, and Dominic Oyella, his ex-KCCA FC teammate.
