Wakiso Hill’s women Football Club terminates Rogers Nkugwa contract

The Finance Trust Bank Fufa women super league outfit Wakiso Hills women football club has part ways with their head coach Rogers Nkugwa through a press statement released on their social media handles this Afternoon.

Some unconfirmed reports suggest that Wakiso Hills parted ways with Nkuwa due to consistent poor performance in the 2024/25 season whereby they remain winless after eight games played in the league.

The tactician Nkugwa replaced Kamya Swalley who helped the club to gained their promotion to women super league from Elite League.

Wakiso Hill survived relegation last season and on top of a semi-final finish in the FUFA Women’s Cup last season under Nkugwa.

“Wakiso Hill Women Football Club has with effect from 25th November 2024 agreed to part ways with Mr. Nkugwa Rogers under mutual consent.” Reads part of the club statement.

The announcement comes in the aftermath of Wakiso Hill’s 2-0 defeat to She Corporate at MUBS Arena in Nakawa.

Before joining wakiso Hill’s women football club he had stints at Uganda Martyrs, Princess Diana High School and Katuuso Community School.

Wakiso Hill currently sit second from bottom with four points accumulated from eight games.

The Antelopes will visit Tooro Queens in their next game on Saturday 30th November at Buhinga Stadium.
