Lugazi FC have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Adam Mutesaasira from Rwanda’s Muhazi United FC. The dynamic winger has penned a three-year deal with the club.
“I’m excited to be here. I’m ready to give my best and help Lugazi FC reach its goals,” Mutesaasira said shortly after putting pen to paper.
The 22-year-old brings solid experience to the squad, having previously played for Police FC in both the FUFA Big League and Uganda Premier League before moving to Rwanda. At Muhazi United, he stood out during the 2024/25 season, tallying 12 goal contributions—seven assists and five goals—in just 15 appearances during the second round of the league.
Mutesaasira first made headlines while playing for Kibuli Secondary School, where he played a key role in their 2022 FEASSSA Games triumph in Arusha, Tanzania.
Capable of operating effectively on both wings, he is expected to bring flair and attacking depth to Lugazi FC’s frontline ahead of the new season.
