BUL FC have completed the capture of goalkeeper Farouk Yawe from Kitara FC, handing him a two-year deal that will keep him with the Eastern Giants until 2027.
At 26, Yawe arrives with valuable top-flight experience, having previously featured for Luwero United and most recently Kitara FC, where he established himself as a reliable presence between the posts.
Speaking after sealing the move, Yawe could not hide his excitement:

“Joining BUL is a big step for me. This is one of the biggest teams in Uganda with great coaches and fantastic players. My goal is to contribute to the club’s ambitions, take it back to continental football, and achieve more success together.”
Head coach Abbey Bogere emphasized the importance of the signing, highlighting the need for depth in the squad:
“Last season we went through the campaign with only one experienced goalkeeper, and I didn’t want to take that risk again. Yawe brings the experience, character, and mentality we need, and we are happy to welcome him to the BUL family.”
The new addition is expected to provide both competition and stability in the goalkeeping department as BUL FC set their sights on a strong 2025/26 campaign.
