Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club have completed the signing of forward Nelson “The Goal Machine” Senkatuka, adding one of the country’s most lethal finishers to their squad.

Senkatuka, known for his pace, physicality, and eye for goal, joins the Tax Collectors with a reputation as a versatile attacker capable of playing across the frontline, though most dangerous when deployed as a center forward.

Head coach Alex Isabirye could not hide his excitement at the new arrival:

“Nelson is not only a proven goalscorer but also a hard-working and intelligent player. He has the mentality and ambition we want in our team, and I believe he will bring a new dimension to our attack.”

The striker has already linked up with his teammates as URA intensify preparations for the upcoming FUFA Super 8 Tournament.

Senkatuka’s football journey speaks for itself. He rose to prominence with Soltilo Bright Stars FC, where he earned his nickname, before turning out for Proline FC, Hope FC, and giants KCCA FC—where he was part of the 2016 Uganda Premier League-winning squad. His career also includes an overseas spell in Morocco with Moghreb Athletico Tetouan.

On the international stage, the forward has earned 17 caps with the Uganda Cranes, featuring in two CHAN tournaments, two CECAFA competitions—including the 2015 title-winning team in Ethiopia—and the COSAFA Cup.

With his wealth of experience and proven scoring record, Senkatuka is expected to play a pivotal role in URA’s ambitions for the new season. The club has hailed his signing as a major statement of intent.
