Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club have underlined their ambition for the 2025/26 campaign with another wave of reinforcements, bringing in three proven performers to bolster their squad.

The Tax Collectors confirmed the acquisition of defenders Ronald Otti and Arthur Kiggundu from Kitara FC, alongside goalkeeper Muhammad Ssekeba, who joins from Gaddafi FC after being named FUFA Big League Best Goalkeeper last season.

All three have penned two-year contracts and are in line to make their debuts as early as tomorrow when URA take on Kitara in the FUFA Super 8 Cup at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

For head coach Alex Isabirye, the arrivals represent more than just depth.

“We’re building a team capable of challenging on all fronts,” Isabirye said. “Ronald, Arthur, and Muhammad bring experience, hunger, and quality. Together with the other new players we’ve brought in, they give us a squad with real balance.”

The latest trio join recent additions Kabon Living, Fred Amaku, Chrispas Kusiima, and forward Nelson Ssenkatuka — a transfer window haul that reflects URA’s determination to shed the tag of nearly men and mount a serious push for silverware.

Otti, who was a defensive mainstay at Kitara, called the move “a big step in my career,” while Kiggundu promised to “defend with pride and help the team achieve greatness.” Ssekeba, meanwhile, vowed to build confidence from the back: “My focus is to keep clean sheets and be a reliable presence for the team.”

With a refreshed squad and a clear message of intent, URA head into the new season looking to transform consistency into trophies — a mission their revamped lineup is determined to deliver.
