Get ready for a unique blend of speed and compassion! The Uganda Subaru Owners Club is trading in their need for speed for a noble cause. On November 8, 2025, the club will host a charity drive to support the “Home of Hope,” an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children with disabilities.

Led by President Mbabazi Prossy, the Subaru Owners Club is passionate about making a difference. “As Subaru owners, many of us are parents who wish every child could experience a happy and fulfilling life,” she said. “On November 8, we’re putting our love for speed aside to focus on those who need us most.”
The Home of Hope, founded by Maama Edith Lukabwe in 2017, provides a lifeline for children with multiple mental and physical disabilities. The organization offers: basic needs like Food, shelter, and clothing, medical treatment (Critical care and therapy sessions), mobility equipment (Wheelchairs, walkers, and assistive devices) and educational development skills.

The Subaru Owners Club’s charity drive promises to be an unforgettable experience. Imagine a convoy of sleek Subaru vehicles, usually associated with high-octane events, now traversing roads with a mission of mercy. It’s a powerful testament to the club’s commitment to social responsibility.
The charity drive is not just about collecting donations; it’s about a community coming together to make a tangible difference. Let’s join forces to support this noble cause and make a difference in the lives of these incredible children
