Buweekula Ssaza FC has made a strong statement in the transfer market by retaining their backroom coaching staff and unveiling six key players just two weeks before the highly anticipated 2025 Masaza Cup. The team, which finished third in the 2024 Masaza Cup, has strengthened their squad with quality players to make a deep run in the tournament.

New Signings

Among the new signings are Ashiraf Neymar Kigozi and goalkeeper Suliaman Ssali from Mawokota Ssaza FC, attacking midfielder Michael Kayongo and left-footed attacker Ndahura Francis from Buddu Ssaza FC (the 2024 Masaza Cup winners), Kagulire Patrick from Buluuri Ssaza, and striker Ssonko Shafic from Kkooki Ssaza.

Tough Group

Buweekula Ssaza FC is in the Masengere group, dubbed the “group of death,” alongside Kyaddondo, Mawokota, Bugerere, Buvuma, and Bulemeezi. They will start their campaign against three-time Masaza Cup winners Mawokota FC at the Buwama Community ground.

Tournament Opener

Meanwhile, the 2024 Masaza Cup holders, Buddu Ssaza FC, will host record winners Gomba Ssaza FC in the tournament opener at the Kitovu Sports Arena in Masaka. With their strengthened squad, Buweekula Ssaza FC is poised to make a strong impression in the 2025 Masaza Cup.
