Vipers SC are in advanced talks with the 2020 Masaza Cup top scorer, Charles Bbaale.
The development came after the former Gomba Lions player parted ways with Rwandese Rayon Sports after the conclusion of his one and half year stint.
The league leaders, have emerged as the frontrunners for Bbaale’s signature, with negotiations reportedly in advanced stages. If the deal goes through, the former SC Villa forward is to sign a three-year contract and feature for the Venoms in the second round of the UPL, set to commence in the first week of February.
Bbaale was the top scorer in the Buganda Masaza Cup during the 2020 season with eight goals to his name as he guided the Gomba Lions to their fifth title in as many seasons.
He had joined Villa from Kaaro Kalungi Football Club at the end of the 2020-21 season before joining Rayon Sports in July 2023.
