Before the drama of the CHAN 2024 final unfolds in Nairobi, fans will be treated to a dazzling celebration of East Africa’s cultural heartbeat. The Closing Ceremony, set for Saturday, August 30 at Kasarani Stadium, will transform the arena into a festival of music, rhythm, and unity—capturing the essence of the three host nations: Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The show begins at 14h00 local time (12h00 Morocco / 11h00 GMT) and will be broadcast live across the continent on CAF’s official partners, including SuperSport, Canal+, beIN Sport, KBC, New World TV and CAF TV on YouTube.

On stage, some of the region’s biggest music icons will carry the spirit of PAMOJA (togetherness). Uganda’s Grammy-nominated superstar Eddy Kenzo will ignite the crowd with his infectious Afrobeat and dancehall rhythms. Tanzania’s Zuchu, the bongo flava sensation from Zanzibar, brings her soulful voice and modern East African pop vibe. Kenya will be represented by Savara, the Sauti Sol co-founder turned solo powerhouse, who will showcase the host nation’s musical pride.
With Morocco aiming for a historic third title and Madagascar chasing a fairy-tale first crown in the evening final (18h00 local time), the closing ceremony promises to set the perfect stage for an unforgettable climax to the first-ever CHAN jointly hosted by three nations.
More than just a prelude to the football, the performances will underline the unity and diversity of East Africa—reminding fans that PAMOJA 2024 is as much a celebration of culture as it is of sport.
