The Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has officially unveiled the Maiden Women’s Futsal Uganda Cup, with the 2025/26 season set to kick off this Friday, February 6th.
This landmark tournament features 10 teams competing in a high-stakes, knockout format. The participating clubs include Mengo City, Lubiri Falcons, Lubaga Grameen, Old Kampala, Entebbe Cheetahs, Nansana Aska, Edgars Youth Program, Kisenyi, Mbarara QC, and Kabowa Dream Team.

The competition starts with a single-round knockout. Six winners will join Lubaga Grameen and Entebbe Cheetahs (who received byes) in the Quarter Finals. From there, it’s a straight sprint to the final to crown the first-ever queens of Ugandan futsal.
By launching this cup, FAU aims to elevate the women’s game, providing a vital platform for elite competition and player development.

FAU have invited fans to witness history as the first whistle blows this Friday.

5:00 PM: Old Kampala Ladies vs. Nansana Aska Ladies
6:00 PM: Mengo City vs. Lubiri Falcons
