Lugazi FC will be targeting back to back wins when they visit inconsistent Mbale Heroes FC on Thursday at Mbale Municipal Stadium.
Lugazi come into this contest after a 1-0 hard fought win against Red Eagle in their previous league game on Thursday 6th March 2025.
They will miss out five key players including Alvin Burungi, Akiram Massa with injuries, while George William Oluka, Norman Lumumba and Basham Mukhwana are out, due to personal reasons.
The Mbale Heroes side on the other hand will be aiming to return to winning ways following their 5-0 defeat at KCCA FC as their coach Baker Mbowa seek for his first win at the club.
Mbale Heroes last got a win against Bright stars 1-0 on November 24th 2024 at Mbale municipal stadium and in nine games, they have 7 losses and 2 draws.
The Surgeon’s will be with out Delton Oyo, Gabriel Matata, Herbert Kibirango and Abel Muwanguzi who are injuried.
Lugazi is 11th position on the 16 team UPL table, having won five and drawn eight games to collect 23 points while Mbale Heroes sit bottom of the log, with ten points from 19 games.
