Debutants Muteesa 1 Royal University will play Bugema in the Quarterfinals of the University Football League.
This was revealed at the draws conducted on Thursday at Kati Kati Restaurant at Lugogo bypass.
Muteesa managed to top Group F to qualify with nine points while Bugema were winners of Group D with 13 points.
The quarterfinal will be play over two legs. The first leg is between March 18th – 22nd while the return legs are between March 24th – 28th.
In other quarterfinals, Kampala University will play Islamic University In Uganda. Kampala University finished second in Group D with 12 points while IUIU who stormed the last eight for the first time in seven years topped Group A with 12 points.
Uganda Martyrs who have had best performance so far this season collecting 16 points out of the possible 18 will play the second best in the quarterfinals. The second best team will be either Nkumba or Makerere.
In a final quarterfinal, the winner between St Lawrence and Uganda Christian University will play Ndejje or Makerere.
