Busiro secured a thrilling 1-0 victory over Buluuli in the Masaza Cup matchday three fixture at the Sentema Ssaza ground on Sunday evening. Super-sub Michael Jinta scored the winning goal with a late header, rescuing maximum points for the 2022 Masaza champions.

The 22-year-old forward, who was recruited from Gomba last season, came off the bench to score the decisive goal. He jumped high to head home a second-half substitute Eric Wabuzibu’s in-swinging cross from the right, securing a dramatic win for Busiro.
Buluuli’s goalkeeper made several heroics in the opening stanza, keeping the match goalless. However, Busiro’s dominance throughout the proceedings ultimately paid off, thanks to Michael Jinta’s match-winning goal.

Michael Jinta was deservedly named Man of the Match for his match-winning goal. He expressed his delight at being named Man of the Match and promised to continue improving and helping his team achieve great things this season.

Busiro head coach Kiyimba Dennis expressed his delight after the crucial win against Buluuli. He acknowledged that Buluuli is a formidable opponent and that the win was not easy. With this win, Busiro now focuses on their next game against Ssese in Lutoboka playground.
