The Uganda National Rally Championship (NRC) has reached its climax as contenders will be fighting for sealing points this weekend in the Kabalega Hoima Rally. This is the final round of the Championship.
Coming into the event, three drivers are in battle for the prestigious national title. The championship leader, Jas Mangat, comes into Hoima Rally with 260 points just 3 ahead of second placed Ronald Ssebuguzi who has collected 257 points so far.
Dr. Moustapha Mukasa, is sitting third on 225 points. With all set, everyone of these drivers has a chance to walk away with the title.
For Mangat and Ssebuguzi, they only need to win Kabalega Rally to be crowned this year’s champion as Dr. Mikasa needs a win and DNFs for Mangat and Ssebuguzi to be named 2024 champ. Mangat and Ssebuguzi have 3 championships each on the belt.
A total of 288 km distance is going to be competed on over two days.
