Kampala City Beach Soccer Club has won their maiden beach soccer title after defeating Mutoola 2-0 in the final at the Bamboo gardens beach soccer arena in Kasanje on Sunday evening.

Ambrose Kigozi opened the scores, before Joshua Leti Lubwama sealed the victory with all goals coming late in the third period.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Chairman of Uganda Beach Soccer Association, Deo Mutabazi, FUFA Youth Football Development Officer, Bashir Mutyaba and the Director of football development at FUFA, Ali Mwebe among others.

St Lawrence University secured the bronze medal after defeating MUBS 2-1 in the third-place playoff, with their star player Sharif Lubega bagging abrace while MUBS got consolation through Yakole Talib.

Rojers Omedwa of Kampala City was honoured with the best goalkeeper award, while Joseph Ssendi of Buganda Royal emerged as the top scorer with 30 goals, and Ivan Kulika of Kampala City was named the best coach of the season.

Peter Mukwata of the Silver medalist, Mutoola was the Most Valuable Player of the tournament with astonishing performance through out the 2024/2025 beach soccer league while Mengo Hill BSC won the Fair play award.
