Karim Ndugwa netted a brace as the Eastern Giants, BUL FC overwhelmed Lugazi FC (4-0) to complete a league double at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru on Tuesday evening.
Ndugwa was joined by Ibrahim Orit and Hilary Onek to help BUL to complete double over Lugazi FC. The first goal came in the opening 27 minutes when Karim Ndugwa scored with a teasing delivery across from Reagan Kalyowa.
The home side made it 2-0 in four minutes at the start of the second half through Karim Ndugwa with a brilliant header from Mpasa Swabir’s free kick.
In the 62nd minute of the game Ibrahim Orit scored BUL’s third of the day after collecting the ball from the center with brilliant dribble to shot a long range goal before the 69th minute through Hilary Onek shot that sealed the victory.
The Eastern Giants, haven’t registered any loss in the second round, winning nine and drawing two games. They have scored eleven goals at home in the second round and conceded only one that’s against URA.
BUL remains 3rd on the table with 49 points, 10 points behind table leaders Vipers while Lugazi FC remains 11th with 31points from twenty six games.
In the next matches BUL FC will visit Lugogo based side NEC FC on Friday while Lugazi will hosts URA FC on Saturday in Najjembe stadium.
