The Entebbe Club is set to trade in its usual serene vibe for a vibrant blend of golf, glamour, and good times this Saturday, as the third leg of the I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series 2025 hits the tee.

More than just a golf tournament, the Katogo Series has grown into a cultural event — one where serious sporting ambition meets playful social flair. This weekend’s edition promises no less, bringing back the crowd-favorite Daytona format, a team-based challenge that values chemistry and strategic harmony between golf partners. Only the best score on each hole counts — meaning every shot could shift momentum.

But while the greens and fairways will witness fierce yet friendly battles, it’s the off-course experience that has become just as central to the series’ appeal. From online trivia games that reward golf enthusiasts with premium Johnnie Walker Gold Label bottles, to themed parties and celebrity hosts, the Katogo Golf Series has turned into a lifestyle event as much as a sporting one.
This Saturday’s 19th hole will carry a Soul and R&B theme, with players and fans invited to channel their inner cowboy.

Winners will be recognized across several categories, including the top seven teams, best individual gross, and a handful of side contests that keep the tension alive throughout the day.
The last leg saw Team Kyaayi Mukalu (Mukasa Mulema and Abbas Luyombo) top the men’s scoreboard with 40 points, while Edith Wamalwa and Anne Abeja of Team Hot Birdies & Bling took the women’s crown with 37.
With support from brands like RwandAir, Serena Hotels, NBS Sport, and Fenon Events, the Katogo Golf Series continues to set the gold standard for lifestyle golf tournaments in Uganda.
