KCCA FC will be seeking to bounce back to winning ways when they host Mbarara City under the floodlights at Lugogo.
The Kasasiro Boys are still reeling from a points deduction after fielding an ineligible player in the reverse fixture, a match they had won 2-0 on the pitch. Now under interim head coach Jackson Magera, KCCA are yet to register a league win, having suffered back-to-back defeats since the departure of Abdallah Mubiru.
“Our main objective is to collect maximum points in the remaining games to finish in respectable positions,” Magera told the club’s media.

On the other side, Livingston Mbabazi’s Mbarara City are desperate to end a worrying run of form. The Ankole Lions haven’t recorded a league victory since February, when they beat Mbale Heroes. They currently sit 13th on the 16-team log with 23 points—just above the relegation zone.
