KCCA FC, riding a three-game winning streak, set their sights on a fourth consecutive victory in the Uganda Premier League has they travel to Hoima to face Stubborn Kitara Fc on this Saturday evening at the Royal Park Stadium.
The kasasiro boys come into this fixture in excellent form , having secured three consecutive wins: a commanding 5-0 victories against Bright stars fc and Mbale Hereos at Philip omondi stadium in Lugogo and ahard fought 2-1 triumph over Updf fc in Bombo .

However Abdullah Mubiru, demands even more from his players: “We need to maintain the character and fight we showed in our previous games,” he stated.
“We traveled well to Hoima, and everyone is in perfect health. The game against Kitara FC is going to be competitive, and hopefully, we can do the things we have worked on in training and win. I urge the players to do the things we have worked on and bury the chances we keep getting in games. KCCA FC were 2-0 winners over Kitara FC in the reverse fixture, played at the MTN Omondi Stadium, in September 2024 .
KCCA FC lies 5th on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table; a win against Kitara FC takes the Cityzens to 4th position, while Kitara FC lies 6th, just a position below KCCA FC, and a win against the 13-time UPL Champions takes them to 5th.
Meanwhile Kitara FC will be looking to secure back-to-back wins for as they host’s Kccafc at Royal park Stadium.The Royals come into the game with hard fought 1-0 victory over Police FC in their last Uganda premier encounter.

In media brief with their head coach Wasswa Bbosa is ready for today challenge.
“They are a good side, one of the biggest in the Ugandan football club and are in good form,” said Bbosa. “But we are also doing well at the moment and with the fans behind us, we believe we can get the victory because our aim is to move into the top four,” he added.
