Lugazi FC has taken the decision to part ways with Francis Mugerwa and Steven Bogere, who have been serving as co–head coaches of the senior team.

This decision takes effect immediately and follows a comprehensive internal review in which the club concluded that recent performances and overall outcomes did not align with the standards, ambitions and expectations set by the management.

In the same regard, the club has resolved to disband the entire technical team as part of a broader restructuring process aimed at repositioning Lugazi FC for improved competitiveness and long-term success. Those affected by this decision include assistant coach Gerald Efiti, goalkeeping coach Kizza Adam, team statistician Alex Mugabi, and team doctor Jude Ssempijja, all of whom will also leave their respective roles with immediate effect.

The club has already commenced the process of identifying a new head coach who will lead the senior team going forward, and an official announcement will be made before the next league fixture. Until such time as the appointment is concluded and communicated, Lugazi FC will refrain from issuing any further statements on the matter.
