Moses Magogo Hassim has been re-elected as the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President for a fourth term, spanning 2025-2029.
This decision was made during the 101st FUFA Ordinary General Assembly held at Hoima Resort Hotel in western Uganda. Magogo, who is also a Member of Parliament for Budiope East in Buyende District, ran unopposed and was elected by acclamation, showcasing his strong support within Uganda’s football community.

Magogo’s Vision for the Next Four Years
In his acceptance speech, Magogo emphasized consolidating the achievements of the past 12 years. He outlined five key pillars for FUFA’s future:
- Sport: Implementing the FUFA Technical Master Plan and competition reforms to elevate Ugandan football.
- Business: Prioritizing revenue generation, ensuring fair compensation, and enhancing FUFA’s brand.
- CHAN and AFCON 2027: Hosting these major tournaments will significantly boost Ugandan football.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building support for FUFA’s programs and initiatives.
- Consolidation of Achievements: Building on the progress made so far.
