Mengo City, the League champions, will face Kabuusu Clouds in the Uganda Cup semi final at Old Kampala Futsal Arena today, May 19, 2025.
Mengo City has had a strong run in the cup, eliminating Crown Lubiri and Lubaga Grameen in previous rounds. Kabuusu Clouds, led by Tony Ssemwegerere and Najib Muwonge, will look to cause an upset.
In the other semi final, Kisenyi FC will take on defending champions Park FC. Kisenyi’s Ilyas Omran is on a hot streak, scoring in seven consecutive games and leading the cup’s top scorers with 12 goals. Park FC’s Captain Shafic Mulangira and Joshua Aziku also pose a threat.
The semi final winners will meet in the final, while the losers will play for third place on May 23, 2025. The same day will also feature the Betpawa Futsal Super League Frenzy Edition final between Crown Lubiri and Kisenyi FC, with Mengo City playing the loser’s match against QC Mbarara.
