Midfielder Moses Aliro has committed his future to URA FC, signing a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2027. The Uganda Premier League side confirmed the development on Friday.
Aliro, who joined the Tax Collectors in July 2023 after a stint at Wakiso Giants, was instrumental last season—leading the league with eight assists and netting four goals. His stellar performances made him one of the most influential midfielders in the league and a crucial piece in URA’s engine room.
The 24-year-old’s renewal comes as no surprise given his consistency and creative spark since joining the club. Before his time at URA, Aliro also turned out for KCCA FC and Wakiso Giants.

He becomes the fourth player to commit to URA ahead of the new campaign, following in the footsteps of Laban Tibita, Norman Namanya, and Ibrahim Wammanah, who all penned extensions earlier this off-season.
The club is also working behind the scenes to extend the contract of team captain Enock Walusimbi. However, the Tax Collectors have seen some departures. Striker Sharif Kimbowa has confirmed his exit, while Ivan Ahimbisibwe has completed a switch to KCCA FC.
