The crucial 1-0 victory earns the Ugandan champions three vital points, placing them second in Group B behind CBE Women on goal difference.

In another high-stakes clash at Kigali Pelé Stadium, Kenya Police Bullets FC secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Tanzanian giants Simba Queens.

Faith Mboya opened the scoring for the Bullets in the 18th minute following a well-crafted assist from Tereza Obunyu Engesha.

Simba Queens leveled through Demise Sanaf Wakuma in the 71st minute, but Martha Amunyolete Emedot sealed all three points for the Kenyan side with a 78th-minute strike.
