URA v BUL
URA FC step into the spotlight tonight at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo with pressure mounting, as they face a resurgent BUL FC side now thriving under a familiar figure they once let go.
The Tax Collectors have yet to find consistency this season and arrive on the back of two painful defeats—first to Express and then a late 1-0 loss to NEC in Lugogo. Those results have deepened concerns around their form, leaving them 11th on the table with 22 points and in urgent need of a turnaround.
Their opponents, BUL, present a contrasting picture. Since reuniting with Alex Isabirye, the Jinja-based outfit has quietly rebuilt momentum, climbing into mid-table with a string of solid performances. The side currently sits eighth with 30 points, enjoying a comfortable cushion over URA despite a narrow defeat to Maroons in their previous outing.

For URA, much of the responsibility will rest on the attacking trio of Joseph Ssemujju, Fred Amaku and Derrick Kakooza to rediscover their scoring touch. BUL, on the other hand, will rely on the creativity and pace of Ibrahim Mugulusi, Ibrahim Orit and Abdulkarim Ndugwa to keep their upward trajectory intact.
Adding intrigue to the contest, several players will be lining up against former teammates, including Isma Mugulusi and Ronald Otti, who previously featured for BUL and now don URA colors.
While neither side is realistically in the title race, the clash carries significance in shaping their end-of-season outlook. With pride, position and momentum at stake, Nakivubo is set for a tense encounter under the lights.
