Mawokota county, through it’s chief head Owek Sarah Nanono has named Dr Lawrence Mulimdwa as patron and will monitor the team’s operations as the 2025 Masaza Cup tournament awaits in July.
The event attracted top Mawokota personalities who included Kayima Sarah Nanozi , Dr Lawrence Mulindwa, Mawokota North Member of Hon Hillary Kiyaga, Hon Teddy Nambooze, Mpigi LC5 Martin Ssejjemba and Mr Dennis Bugaya the owner of Brook’s Agro farm all attended the event.
Vipers SC President Mulindwa promised full Support to the team ahead of the 2025 masaza cup preparations.
Hon.Kiyaga also supported the team with Shs3M and urged his constituents to give support to the team in various aspects as their bid for their fourth Masaza Cup triumph.
Mawokota are three time Masaza Cup winners following their success in 2005, 2007 and 2013.
During the 2024 edition, their journey ended at the Quaters finals stage by the Runners up Buweekula.
