QC Mbarara secures maiden victory as betPawa Futsal Super League matchday 6 returns

The 2024/25 betPawa Futsal Super League resumed on Friday evening with matchday six fixtures at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena, yielding six exciting results.

QC Mbarara secured their first victory of the season, defeating bottom-placed Edgars Youth Programmee (6-4). Idi Babu and Arafat Ssentongo each scored twice, while Gibran Ndukukire and Daniel Egeru also found the back of the net. Jeliga Bob Atendele scored a hat-trick for Edgars in a hard-fought match.

Other Matchday Six Results

Crown Lubiri maintained its perfect unbeaten record as QC Mbarara celebrated it’s first-ever Futsal Super League victory.

In a thrilling top-of-the-table clash, Crown Lubiri defeated Nansana ASKA (3-1). Crown, leading the log with 13 points before the game, faced ASKA, who sat second with 12 points.

Abukar Yusuf Kulane’s brace and Ahmed Abdinasir’s goal secured Crown’s victory, while Jacob Opio scored ASKA’s consolation.

This win marks Crown’s fifth victory in six games, maintaining their unbeaten record in the betPawa FSL.

For ASKA, this is their second defeat of the season, following gameweek three loss to Kabowa Dream Team.

Park FC defeated Kabowa Dream Team (4-2), thanks to Abasi Junior Muluya’s hat-trick. Mengo City pummeled Lubaga Grameen (9-0), with Abdul Karim Tebela netting a haul. Kabuusu Clouds came from behind to return to winning ways, defeating Kisugu FC (6-2) as Gaddafi Bazanyanengo had a hat-trick.

In the other remaining game played on Friday, Iiyas Omran came off the bench to score thrice in the second half, securing Kisenyi a point against Busunju Spaks in a 4-4 stalemate.
