Vipers face tricky BUL FC test at St Mary’s kitende

Vipers Sports Club hosts wounded BUL FC in Uganda Premier league encounter on matchday 12 at St Mary’s, Kitende under floodlights.

The Venoms will be keen on keeping their pursuit for silverware this season with this clash today, Saturday evening.

They come into the game off the back of a hugely important 2-0 victory over URA FC, which momentarily lifted them to the top of the log.

Vipers is second on the log on 24 points, 2 behind table leaders NEC FC and are much aware that maximum points will lift them to the summit.

They are enjoying a good form, avoiding a defeat in their last 10 games, they last tested a loss in their opener against NEC FC.

In their last five games, they have won thrice and drawn twice.

With BUL FC, they come into this game after a shock in their previous encounter where they lost (2-0) to UPDF FC.

They have drawn thrice, won once and lost once in their last 5 games.

Vipers have failed to win against BUL FC in their last five meetings, losing four times including one in penalties (6-5) in the recent FUFA Super 8 final and only one draw.

Last season, BUL FC defeated Vipers at both occasions in the league that is to say 1-0 at FUFA Technical center, Njeru and as well 2-3 at St Mary’s Kitende.

BUL FC lie 10th on 14 points from 11 games and a win could see them move to 8th place on 17 points.

Elsewhere at Kabaka Kyabbagu Stadium, Wakiso Giants will be welcoming KCCA FC.
