The match burst into life early, with Entebbe striking first in the 8th minute through Abraham Tusubira, who finished off a well-worked move. However, their advantage lasted only moments as Billy Wabwire punished a defensive lapse to restore parity almost instantly.
Both sides, desperate to end their winless runs stretching back to February, pushed for a winner but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.
The draw leaves Lugazi hovering just above the relegation zone in 12th place with 19 points, while Entebbe UPPC climb to fifth on 37 points, level with NEC, keeping their top-table ambitions intact.
