This win marked a significant statement for the reigning women’s champions, Police aim to defend women the league title and to win men’s Category.

The intensity of the match reached new heights as the heavens opened towards the game’s conclusion, subjecting players to a relentless downpour. Notably, Police’s Bongomin Daniel put an all-star performance scoring the most goals, 19 to his name. Twinomugisha Kenneth followed suit with 9 goals, Waiswa Abdul Malik and Ssebuguzi Wasswa had 6 while Ssendagire Hassan and Saidi Abdul Salaam both scored one.
In another men’s contested affair, Evergreen handball team edged 16-45 victory against Prisons. Meanwhile, Uzalendo faced a comprehensive sanitization from Prisons, succumbing to a formidable 33-50 defeat.

On the women’s front, Nkajja endured a 40-46 loss against Victoria University, while Kyangeza Bees and Prisons Women ended in 39-39 Draw. Kawanda displayed their prowess by effortlessly overcoming Makerere University with a 33-27 victory.
