Joseph Sebatindira claimed the WTT Youth Contender Championship in Berlin, Germany on high note.
This comes after he defeated Drobov Davis of Ukraine 3-2 to win the U11 final. His ability to bounce back after losing the U13 final showed determination and character.
He will proceed to Czech Republic to compete in the WTT Youth Contender in Havirov.
Now, heading to Havirov, the challenge of competing in both the U11 and U13 categories will test his endurance and skill even further. If he can secure both titles, it will cement his reputation as one of the most promising young table tennis players from Uganda
Sebatindira’s rise in the world of table tennis is nothing short of remarkable. His success in Portugal a few weeks ago, along with his performances in the U11 and U13 categories, underscores his dedication and technical growth. With his refined arm reach and powerful forehand attacks, he is becoming a formidable player at just 10 years old.
His success is also a credit to Nakasero Table Tennis Club, which is proving to be a solid foundation for nurturing young talent. With continued support and exposure, Sebatindira could become a major figure in African and global table tennis.
