SEMKA Racing academy, a motorcross training school has hit another milestone as the celebrated their fourth year of existence as where as promoting and grooming more riding talents.

On Friday at Fussion Eco Resort Hotel and Auto Spa, Munyonyo, the academy celebrated its fourth year of existence with awarding riders, rider parents and everyone who has been part of its journey since 2020 during COVID when it started.

It has groomed riders like; Miguel Katende, Jonathan Katende, Filbert Muwonge among others. George Ssemakula, the director and trainer thanked whoever who had been part of their successful journey.

“Am thankful to the parents who trusted me with their kids. As Uganda we needed to groom young talents yet the riders were not many. This led me to start this academy which has paid off because now most of the fastest riders, passed through my hands,” Ssemakula started.

Suzan Muwonge, a rider parent to team 28 rider, Filbert Muwonge showered pressure to the academy director for having their kids performance on bike improve day by day.

On behalf of FMU, Denise Baliddawa promised to help the academy excel by providing necessary knowledge and support for the new talent recruitments.

SEMKA Racing Academy started with the Katende brothers (Miguel and Jonathan) who later inspired other riders to join the sport after seeing their impressive performances.
