The Kavumba based side will lockhorns with the Eastern Region third division side Iganga Young FC at Iganga Sazza Ground in the Round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
This will be first meeting with the Eastern Region third division side , Interim Head Coach Ian Mutenda highlighted the threat posed by Iganga Young FC.
”Lower league teams like Iganga Young FC can be tricky opponents. They always try to prove a point against top-flight teams. We must be cautious not to take them for granted.”

Coach Ian also revealed his plans to rotate the squad:”This game provides an opportunity for us to try out different players. We want to give every player a chance to showcase themselves. We will make some changes to the starting lineup.”
Midfielder Noordin Bunjo (knock), defender Kato Nemeyimana (ankle sprain), Marvin Youngman (knock), Alex Mandela (malaria), Fiat Cleophus (family issues), and Paskali Oketcho (thigh injury) did not make the trip while Kokas Aloud, Mustafa Khassim, and Joel Ineah, who missed the recent 1-1 league draw against Lugazi are back .
