The Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) has officially launched the 17th National Ludo Super League that is set to kick off in late March 2025.

Ten clubs have confirmed participation in the 17th season of the Uganda National Ludo Super League. These include; Masaka Giants (2024 champion), Najjemba Ludo Club, Kazo Hill Ludo Club, Buloba A Ludo Club, Kampala Pirates Ludo Club, Kisaasi Youth Ludo Club, Namugongo Arena Ludo Club, Nansana Allstars Ludo Club, Nansana Galaxy and Kigoowa United.

The two clubs finishing in first and second positions will automatically qualify to participate in the Africa Ludo Clubs Championship (ALCC), eliminating the need for additional qualification events.

Hussein Kalule, the President of Uganda Ludo Federation believes the future is bright for the sport of Ludo in the country and also argued teams in the National Super League to start looking for sponsors early enough because the games shall be more hectic than the 2024 season. This comes after the expansion of the game to more distant areas than it has been.

The Uganda ludo Super league started in 2006 and marks a significant milestone for the league.
