A contingent of twenty one Athletes of the Uganda Police Handball Club, has been flagged off for the 42nd edition of East and Central Africa Handball Championship (ECHAF) that will took place in Kigali, Rwanda. The edition is slated for December 15 – 21.
Fourteen clubs will compete for the championship in Kigali. In last year’s edition, Uganda was represented by four teams; UPDF handball club , Prisons Handball club, Evergreen handball club for men and Nkajja women Handball club (Women).
Nkajja finished third in the women’s category and walked way with bronze in the championship that took place in Nairobi while Prison handball club was beaten in the semi finals to finish second.
