After the conclusion of the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024 group stages, CAF’s Technical Study Group (TSG) has officially released the best-performing eleven (11) players were the Ugandan and Crested Cranes defender Shadia Nankya featured in the team .

The CAF Techincal Study Group comprises of various African football experts, including coaches, analysts, and technical advisors.
The best 11 composed has four AS FAR players, two from tournament debutants, Edo Queens and FC Masar, while Mamelodi Sundowns, University of the Western Cape (UWC) as well as TP Mazembe also have players on the 11.

Nankya, helped FC Masar kept two clean sheets in their three group Matches. Egypt’s FC Masar has two Ugandans in Shadia Nankya and Aisha Nantongo making their center back.
Nankya delivered an impeccable performance as her side FC Masar shockingly defeated Champions Mamelodi Sundowns LFC (1-0) and she was named the the player of the Match. She also helped her side to keep a clean sheet against Nigerian giants, EDO Queens FC.
After keeping two clean sheets, FC Masar became the first debutant to do so since Mamelodi Sundowns in 2021. Nankya helped them to become the first Egyptian side to advance to the knockout stage.

The tournament enters the exciting knockout stages Today, November 19th, when EDO Queens takes on TP Mazembe at 1600hours Local Time before former champions AS FAR take on FC Masar at 1900hours Local Time.
The CAF Technical Study Group also confirmed the best performing players and coach for the group stages as follows:
