The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed that the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarterfinal draws will be held on Monday, April 7, at Kansai Plascon Offices in the Industrial Area.
Defending champions Kitara FC, who eliminated FUFA Big League side Gaddafi FC are among the eight teams waiting for the draws just like record holders KCCA FC
Other teams that have secured their spots in the quarter finals include Vipers SC, SC Villa, Kaaro Karungi, BUL FC, Police FC, and Kataka FC. Notably, Big League sides Kataka FC and Kaaro Karungi caused upsets by eliminating Uganda Premier League outfits URA FC and UPDF FC, respectively.
The quarter final matches are scheduled to take place between April 10th and 14th, 2025.
According to FUFA Competitions Director Hajat Aisha Nalule, in the event of a draw during normal time, extra time of 30 minutes will be played, and if necessary, a penalty shootout will determine the winner.
The Stanbic Uganda Cup is a prestigious knockout tournament in Ugandan football, with the winner earning a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup. Fans are eagerly anticipating the quarterfinal draws to see which teams will face off in the next stage of the competition.
